August 10th, 1914 – Don’t mess with Belgium

On August 4th, 1914, Great Britain declared war on Germany! Belgium and England had always had a good relationship when Germany sent the ultimatum to Belgium. England got word of this, and they were not happy with what had happened. As Belgium, fought back they pushed the Germans plans back much more than what they had hoped. In their original plan, the Schlieffen plan, they had hoped that both England and Belgium remand natural. Things did not go as planned though when Belgium fought back with the invention, it pushed them back. England did not react well with the innovation on Belgium and decide to go to war! Now the Germans plans have been put back further than before! How will the rest of this play out now that England has gotten involved?

  1. I bet you didn’t see this coming YOU GERMANS! This all on you for getting Belgium involved in something that was unnecessary!

  2. Coming a bit early in the game I see but this means that we are going to be closer to victory! You consistent on the western front and we’ll take care of the eastern front. The Austrians- Hungarians are losing horribly.
